HCM City Gears Up for International Photography Contest and Festival

Capture the Magic of Vietnam
The vibrant city of Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam is inviting photographers from around the world to participate in the exciting third edition of its International Photography Contest. This prestigious event offers a platform for both professional and amateur photographers to showcase their talent and capture the essence of Vietnam's beauty, culture, and people.

Organized by the HCM City Photography Association (HOPA), the contest boasts four categories: freestyle in color, freestyle in monochrome, the world through the lens (in color and monochrome), and a special children's category (also in color and monochrome). Whether you're drawn to the bustling streets of HCM City or the serene landscapes of Vietnam's countryside, this contest is your chance to share your unique perspective.

The winning photographs will be displayed at the prestigious second HCM City International Photography Festival, scheduled for November 22nd to December 2nd at the iconic Paris Square in District 1. Titled "The World Through the Lenses," this exhibition promises a captivating journey through Vietnam as seen by talented photographers.

The festival doesn't stop there! A parallel exhibition titled "The Beauty of Nature in Vietnam" will showcase the breathtaking landscapes of the country captured by members of photography associations from major cities like Hue, Hanoi, Dak Lak, Can Tho, and Bac Lieu.

Beyond the exhibitions, the festival offers a plethora of photography-related activities. Dive into the world of photography at the bustling fair featuring over 100 booths showcasing cutting-edge cameras, accessories, printers, and all the supplies you need to fuel your passion. Aspiring photographers can also hone their skills at engaging workshops conducted by industry experts.

The festival culminates in a thought-provoking symposium titled "HCM City Through the Lenses of International Photographers." This event promises insightful discussions and is expected to attract over 100 photographers from Vietnam and across the globe.

The HCM City International Photography Contest and Festival is a must-attend event for photography enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the power of visual storytelling. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate the magic of Vietnam and capture its essence through the lens!
